Quality education and care go together. That is why at Early Discoveries we choose to offer smaller class sizes,
providing higher teacher to child ratios than is required by licensing. This allows our dedicated team of Early
Childhood Educators and teachers the ability to devote more quality time with each child in our programs.
At Early Discoveries we recognize that when children feel safe and secure, they freely express themselves and
develop to their fullest potential. We have observed that when something interests children, they not only
become passionate with what they are doing, but the learning is merged into the fun and excitement of discovery.
That is why our teachers work very closely with families, to learn more about a child's special interests and unique way of learning.
Our sunny South-facing classroom overlooks a beautiful forested area that not only offers natural sunlight,
but also provides a window to the changing seasons.
We believe that one of the most important things your child will leave our programs with is a positive attitude and an infinite love of learning.
At Early Discoveries we aspire to facilitate and broaden a child's sense of curiosity and imagination. We believe there are an infinite number
of ways of doing anything and take steps to encourage a child when we observe they are feeling challenged or discouraged. We offer endless
open-ended experiences for the maximum creative expression for children. Believing the "process", far outweighs any "end result" a child may have.
Our program recognizes a child's play and discovery as the medium through which a child learns. When children interact with the learning
materials within the classroom, their peers and the staff they are developing concepts about the world around them, while developing their
aptitude and self-confidence. Our clean and carefully thought out classroom empowers children to make appropriate choices mastering their
independence. Our innovative and diverse curriculum challenges children to move beyond what they already know through exploration and play,
drawing out the most ingenious parts of one self.

We use the Emerging Curriculum philosophy. Our programming is a direct result of the interactions between children and teachers,
both contributing and sharing ideas during our studies. We acknowledge and support the individual interests that emerge from the children,
making each class a unique experience.
